About Me

My name is Sarah and you may be wondering why on earth someone would make a blog about wedding speeches.  Well, it seems that everyone these days are making blogs about the most random of all subjects.

So I thought I would go ahead and make a blog about writing maid of honor speeches and other tips related to weddings in general.

My goal is to help others like me that struggle with writing and giving speeches or toasts.

Now I personally can attest to the struggles of speech writing as I have always had problems with this area in my life.  I had to give a wedding speech at my best friends wedding and it really took me a long time to get it perfect.

I initially created this site because I ended up writing my own guide on writing speeches.  I learned a lot during that time and took a lot of notes and thought I’d put together a simple 10 page guide on writing the speech.

But in the end, I realized that there really are much better resources than mine.  I will eventually go back and create the greatest speech writing resource ever made, but until then I’ll stick to the others for now.

You’ll notice that I’m a fan of Belinda’s 25 maid of honor speech examples book.  The reason is that it’s the best resource so far that I’ve found for the best price.

If you’re looking for examples and templates of speeches, there isn’t a better choice.  You can pump out a great speech in less than an hour.

Other than that, I’m 26 and a college graduate.  I hang out with friends, listen to music, work 5 days a week and I’m single (unfortunately).  I’m hoping my knight in shining armor will ride up one of these days :)
